World of Beauty Inc. Founder, Robin Fleming
Growing up, I spent years
trying to look like someone else, never feeling adequate
or beautiful. My chosen profession to
model in print, runway and commercial work, did not
empower me to accept myself - it is an industry that is
highly critical of appearance.
I discovered in order to
feel
beautiful, I had to develop the person within, recognize
my own unique attributes, and stop trying to look like
someone else! My
mission is to help other women recognize their own
unique beauty, strengthen their self-esteem using their God-given attributes and
abilities, and to glorify Him in the process. I am
very active in my community working with women of all ages
to acknowledge who we are as mothers, sisters, daughters,
wives, and individuals who
make a difference
every day for so many people.
I spend my time mentoring, speaking, and authoring beauty and motivational
articles, and driving the local carpool! As the Executive Director of
KidNutrition.org, I
work with several non-profit agencies to empower children's
choices with respect to nutrition, and as a mother of two
young children, I work to empower my own family's choices.
I am a member of American Association of University
Women, the National Association for Female Executives, and
I've been honored with awards for Photogenic, Evening Gown, and
Fitness at National Competitions.
As the Model of the Year 2006
I've been
featured on
Turn
For the Judges,
Pageant News Bureau ,
40andFabulous.net and as
'Pageant Personality of the Month.
and presented a wardrobe seminar at Boot Camp for Beauty
Queens filmed by the Travel Channel.
This coming year I begin a new adventure as Mrs. Florida
International 2007 in support of my passion to enhance
children's health and self-esteem through good nutrition.
