Robin
Ann Fleming, a brunette Floridian with blue eyes and a ‘forty
is fabulous’ attitude is the new Encore Pageant Apparel Model of
the Year for 2006. Fleming, a 40+-year-old former professional model,
competed among titlists from both the Miss Teen USA and National Teenager
systems, and was awarded the title and contract for the 2006 year.
Fleming is the founder of The World of Beauty Inc. (www.worldofbeautyinc.com)
a company formed, “to empower women's choices in the areas of health,
wellness, beauty and all aspects of self expression.”
This vision began while Fleming, a former model, was working in the beauty
industry. Fleming’s passion is to “demonstrate that cultivating
your own sense of style and showcasing your own unique God-given attributes
is the true path to beauty…the most beautiful thing a woman can wear
is self-confidence!”
Fleming is the National Spokesperson for KidNutrition.org, a non-profit organization
with international reach empowering children's choices with respect to nutrition.
She strongly feels that, “our habits are formed in childhood, and we
as adults need to be active in helping children develop good eating habits
and behaviors. True beauty is synonymous with a healthy attitude and healthy
body, both of which are gifts we can give to children now.” The motto
of Kidnutrition.org is ‘Feeding Our Future One Child at a Time’.
Ms. Fleming is a member of American Association of University Women and National
Association of Female Executives. She is a former state titlist and international
pageant top five finalist, and has received top awards at national pageants
for Photogenic, Evening Gown, Fitness, along with her current title.
